General Conditions of Sale

The present conditions of sale below are concluded on the one hand by L'Atelier Sur Le Fil, an online store whose url address is: ateliersurlefil.com, on the other hand, by any natural or legal person wishing to make a purchase via the website: https://ateliersurlefil.com/ hereinafter referred to as "the buyer".

1. Purpose

These conditions of sale aim to define the contractual relations between L'Atelier Sur Le Fil and the buyer and the conditions applicable to any purchase made through the site.

All orders placed through this site imply unreserved acceptance by the buyer of these conditions of sale, which he will have read before his purchase.

L'Atelier Sur Le Fil reserves the right to modify its conditions of sale at any time. In this case, the applicable conditions will be those in force on the date of the order by the buyer.

2. Products

L'Atelier Sur Le Fil is a French brand, specialized in the creation of String Art frames (stretched wire) and in the sale of DIY kits. Each product is manufactured or assembled on demand and described as precisely as possible.

3. Tarif

The prices listed in the store are inclusive of VAT in euros.

L'Atelier Sur Le Fil reserves the right to modify its prices at any time (upwards or downwards), it being understood, however, that the price appearing in the store on the day of the order will be the only one applicable to the buyer.

The price indicated does not include delivery costs. These will be specified at the time the buyer indicates the means of delivery.

4. Orders

The buyer, who wishes to purchase one or more models, chooses one or more items. He undertakes to check the various criteria entered (color of the board, first name, dates and other fields left to the buyer's choice). The buyer then clicks on add to cart after checking his order. By clicking on "view cart" he can then choose the delivery method. The buyer can then make a payment by credit card. The buyer then enters the details of the delivery address to which he wishes to be delivered. If he chooses delivery to a global relay point, he can choose it once the order has been placed.

Confirmation of the order entails acceptance of these conditions of sale, recognition of having full knowledge of them and the waiver of relying on one's own conditions of purchase or other conditions.

All data provided and the recorded confirmation will constitute proof of the transaction. The confirmation will constitute signature and acceptance of the operations carried out.

L’Atelier Sur Le Fil will communicate by email the confirmation of the recorded order.

5. Payment terms

The price is payable upon ordering.

Orders are only validated after receipt of payment.

Payments can be made by credit card.

6. Deliveries

The products are carefully packaged, the cardboard packaging aims to protect the material as much as possible. The shipment is made at the latest three working days after the order.

The package will be delivered in France either by Colissimo 48h (from the sending of the order, excluding Sundays and public holidays) or by Mondial Relay (3 to 5 days from the sending of the order, excluding Sundays and public holidays).

Delivery is also provided in the Netherlands by Mondial Relay and in Switzerland by Colissimo.

The tracking number for the order is sent by email to the buyer.

L'Atelier Sur Le Fil is in no way responsible for delivery delays by La Poste or Mondial Relay.

L’Atelier Sur Le Fil cannot be held responsible in the event that:

• A package would be returned by La Poste or Mondial Relay following incorrect contact details provided by the customer when placing the order.
• A package would be lost by La Poste or Mondial Relay following incorrect contact details provided by the customer when placing the order.
• The costs of reshipping the order would therefore remain the full responsibility of the buyer.
  
  

The buyer is required to check in the presence of the postal worker or delivery person, the condition of the packaging of the goods and its contents upon delivery. In the event of damage during transport, any protest must be made to the carrier within three days of delivery.

7. Withdrawal, Refund and Return

In accordance with Article L121-20 of the Consumer Code, buyers, non-professional individuals, benefit from a withdrawal period of 14 clear days from receipt of their order. When the period expires on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday, it is extended until the next working day. The right of withdrawal is exercised without any penalty, without any special formalities and without having to justify reasons.

In accordance with Article L121-20 of the Consumer Code, Sur Le Fil undertakes to reimburse the buyer as soon as possible and at the latest within thirty days following the date on which the right of withdrawal was exercised. The reimbursement will be made via the same payment method used by the customer during the purchase (directly on the bank card).

Return costs remain the responsibility of the buyer.

To make a return, the buyer must, within this 14-day period, contact L'Atelier Sur Le Fil so that they can be informed of the procedure to follow to make the return.

However, the refund will only be made if the Product is returned in its original packaging, in its original condition, accompanied by all accessories and documentation. In addition, Products that are unsealed and/or inseparably mixed with other Products will not be refunded. The Customer will be the only one who can exercise this right of withdrawal. In the event of delivery to a person other than the Customer, this right cannot therefore be exercised by the recipient of the Order.

This right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made at the request of the Customer or clearly personalized whose manufacture requires special adaptations to meet very precise technical and aesthetic requirements, nor to gift cards.

8. Intellectual property

All elements of the site www.ateliersurlefil.com are and remain the intellectual and exclusive property of L'Atelier Sur Le Fil. No one is authorized to use, exploit, or reproduce in any capacity whatsoever, elements of the website whether in the form of photos, logos, visuals or text.

9. Liability

L'Atelier Sur Le Fil, in the online sales process, is only bound by an obligation of means, its liability cannot be incurred for damage resulting from the use of the Internet network such as loss of data, intrusion, virus, interruption of service, or other involuntary problems.

10. Data protection

L'Atelier Sur Le Fil informs its customers that when placing an order on the site, the data recorded concerning them will be used only for processing the order.
In accordance with the Data Protection Act No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978, as amended, the buyer has the right to access and rectify data concerning him/her at any time. To do this, the buyer simply needs to send a request to bonjour@ateliersurlefil.com, specifying his/her contact details.

After each visit to the website, the buyer must not forget to log out of his profile in order to ensure the preservation of data confidentiality.
